LOCAL STOCKS

KSi finished steady losing 2 points and maintaining its level at 7134 points; BSP was the only mover yesterday declining 2.38 percent to close at K0.66, as KAM and OSH ended the day unchanged at K1.08 and K13.45 respectively.

The market is set to open lower again on negative leads from overseas markets riding on a weaker consumer confidence data and worries about a global slowdown; bids are available for LGL as high as K8.60 while BSP sellers are lined up at k0.66. Kina this morning, is buying 0.4559 and selling 0.3994 aussie.

POMSoX UPDATE

LOCAL STOCKS

The market remained steady last Friday with modest volumes changing hands for BSP at K0.66; while CCP and NBO finished unchanged at K1.53 and K19.00 respectively. KSi closed fairly flat closing at 6519 points. The overseas markets tumbled as the Fed Reserve gave a cautious outlook on the economic recovery.

The markets are expected to open lower from negative leads but should end marginally flat. BSP has offers at K0.66, while CCP is trading at K1.53. In currency, kina versus aussie this morning fell from Friday’s range buying 0.4309 and selling at 0.3860 today.

LOCAL STOCKS

KSi lost 10 points to close at 6518 points yesterday, with OSH being the only mover finishing marginally weaker at K13.44; others ended unchanged with BSPHA registering 4 notes being traded at K25, 000.00. Overseas, the markets continued their losing streak, on worries about global economic outlook and a renewed focus on Euro sovereign debt.

The markets may open weaker this morning, on weaker leads from overseas. BSP has bids in the pre-open phase at a high K0.64, while reasonable volumes for NBO are available at K19.00. Kina this morning is buying 0.4342 and selling 0.3899 aussie.

LOCAL STOCKS

Wednesday witnessed KSi add 24 points to close at 6528 points. Reasonable volumes changed hands for BSP and KAM at K0.66 and K1.08 respectively; LGL advanced 1.21 percent to K8.35 as NBO closed unchanged. Resources were all lower with gold ending at $1238 per ounce.

The pre-open phase of the market has bids for BSP at K0.64 and offers for CCP are at a low K1.53. Kina is buying 0.4271 and selling aussie at 0.3826.

The bourse yesterday saw trades registering for CCP at K1.52, while MGO witnessed crossings at K0.44; NBO again slid 1.04 percent to K19.00 as OSH gained some territory to end the day at K13.50. KSi slipped 3 points concluding the day to close at 6503 points.

The markets this morning will head off into a weaker start with negative leads from offshore markets riding on the back weaker housing data and declining energy shares. BSP has bids available at K0.65 while sellers for CCP shares are lined up at a low K1.53. In currency news, our kina is buying 0.4267 and selling 0.3822 aussie.

LOCAL STOCKS

KSi added 6 points to 7142 points yesterday with BSP advancing adding 1.53 percent to close at K0.66; while others finished unchanged. In overseas, the markets ended on a flat note with guidance from euro which came under pressure with yield spreads widening on Portugal’s and Spain’s debt.

In commodities, it was another quiet night with most of the base metals finishing relatively calm. The precious metal lost $3.90 to $1230.50 per ounce as oil closed at $77.67 per barrel.

This morning we expect the markets to open weaker with offers for CPL as low as K2.95, and offers for NBO at K19.00 but it should finish strongly. Kina this morning is steady buying 0.4250 and selling at 0.3816 aussie.

LOCAL STOCKS

Local bourse closed quite active yesterday with reasonable volumes changing hands for BSP at K0.65, NBO lost 2.26 percent to end the day at K19.00 likewise OSH finishing marginally weaker at K13.45. KSi closed at 6431 points losing 28 points.

Overseas markets saw yet another day of negativity with US consumer credit and European concerns kept the market volatile. In commodities, gold posted $23.10 to close at $1240.80 per ounce as crude oil concluded at $71.44 per barrel.

Local market has offers available for CPL at K2.95, while NBO and OSH has sellers at a low K19.00 and K13.55 respectively. In Currency news, kina improved by 0.8 percent edging over the 0.4000 cents mark yesterday, this morning it is buying 0.4628 and selling at 0.4157 aussie.

KSi closed the day unchanged with BSP registering trades at K0.65 while CPL finished the day at K2.95. NBO gained some territory to end the day at K19.44, with its offers closing at K19.40. In resources last night, metal prices eased over light volumes, with gold losing 1.03 percent to close at $1210 per ounce and oil ended higher at $74.61 per barrel.

The local market this morning has offers for CCP at a low K1.54, and OSH sellers are queued up at K13.55. Kina this morning is buying 0.4403 and selling 0.3960 aussie.
