LOCAL STOCKS
On Friday, the local bourse closed quiet with small volumes changing hands. BSP closed down 1 percent to K0.83, with CGA ending at K0.87. While IOC finished stronger at US$21.01 with a high of US$21.20 in US; and in LSE NBPO concluded the week at GBP2.75.

The market is expected to continue in its current trend with BSP offers at a low K0.83 while the bids for NBO at K9.93.

BSP: Bank South pacific last Friday released to the market reporting its operating profit of K328mn with a 16 percent increase in its net earnings.
