LOCAL STOCKS
KSi added 6 points to 7142 points yesterday with BSP advancing adding 1.53 percent to close at K0.66; while others finished unchanged. In overseas, the markets ended on a flat note with guidance from euro which came under pressure with yield spreads widening on Portugal’s and Spain’s debt.
In commodities, it was another quiet night with most of the base metals finishing relatively calm. The precious metal lost $3.90 to $1230.50 per ounce as oil closed at $77.67 per barrel.
This morning we expect the markets to open weaker with offers for CPL as low as K2.95, and offers for NBO at K19.00 but it should finish strongly. Kina this morning is steady buying 0.4250 and selling at 0.3816 aussie.
