LOCAL STOCKS

The bourse experienced technical difficulties almost whole of last week, closing weaker on Friday by 23 points to end at 7911 points. The major movers on the day included CPL advancing 5.35 percent to K2.95, while HIG lost 6.25 percent registering trades at K0.75 as others closed unchanged.

In overseas, NBPO on the London Stock market (LSE) finished stronger adding GBP2.50 to close the day at GBP5.47, over reasonable volumes, as IOC closed at US$68.81 on the NYSE.

The pre-open phase of the market has offers for CPL available at K3.00 while bids for LGL are as high as K8.00. Kina this morning, is buying aussie at 0.4056 while selling at 0.3624.
