LOCAL STOCKS
The bourse was again quiet yesterday with light volumes changing hands; movers for the day included NBO and OSH closing higher at K18.50 and K13.70 respectively, while LGL finished unchanged. Which saw the KSi advancing 1.50 percent to end the day at 6174 points.
In commodities, Gold added $15.34 to $1134.20 per ounce overnight, likewise did oil peaking at a high of $79.82 tracking equity markets and optimism that the global economy is set to expand.
This morning, may see the market open flat however, is expected to close stronger as the week progresses on the back of company announcements. The pre-open phase of the market today, has bids for HIG at a high K0.65 while BSP shares are available at K0.74.
