LOCAL STOCKS
The market ended quiet, with the KSi falling 15 points lower than previous to end at 6183. BSP was weaker by 1.33 percent likewise CPL and NBO closing at K2.70 and K18.51 respectively. In commodities, profit taking hit the resources after four days of strong gains with most of the base metals closing lower.
The market should open flat this morning, with offers for BSP lined up as low as K0.73 while bids for LGL are at a high K6.20; in currency news, our kina is steady this morning selling aussie at 0.3699.
