LOCAL STOCKS

The bourse closed last week on a relatively calm note with trades registering for BSP and LGL. BSP fell 1.38 percent while LGL ended stronger advancing 7 percent to K7.50, as others finished unchanged. KSi closed at 6334 points higher by 2.67 percent.

Today has BSP bids as high as K0.71 while offers for HIG are available at a low K0.90. Our Kina this morning is buying 0.4123 and selling 0.3673 aussie.

BSP: Bank South Pacific, released its full year results stressing a 15 percent increase on the consolidated operating profit before tax of K328.8 million achieved last year to K378.1million; while the after tax profit is K255.5million. The company currently, has total assets valued at K9.4 billion a significant rise of 38 percent realized last year.
